14. Pre-Mounted Hinge/Plate – Fixing and Door Adjustment

Lay the doors on a carton in front of you.
Note that the hinge plate is pre-fitted to the hinge arm.
Both the arm and plate are supplied with pre-fitted screws.
Insert the assembled hinge into the specified hole on the door as shown.
Fix the hinge to the door with both screws as shown. Ensure that the hinge arm sits flush to the surface of the door panel.
Repeat the process for the remaining hinges on all doors.
Lift the door and locate the top hinge over the specified holes.
Fully tighten both screws as shown.
Fix the bottom hinge plate next, then the remaining plates. Repeat the process for the other door.
Once you have positioned the wardrobe in its finial position, check its level with a spirit level as shown. When the wardrobe is level you can adjust the doors is necessary.
The hinge plates allow for the following adjustment.
The screw at the back of the plate allows the door to move in and out from the wardrobe. After making any adjustments always ensure the screw is tightly secured.
The two screws at the top and bottom of the hinge plate allow the door to move up and down. After making any adjustments always ensure the screw is tightly secured.
The screw in the hinge arm allows the door to move side to side.
