06a. How to Assemble a Three Piece Flat Pack Drawer Box (17mm Ball Bearing Runners)

Layout all the relevant drawer parts in front of you on the carton.
Note that the wooden dowels are already pre-inserted into the drawer sides.

Screw the CAM pin into the designated hole on the drawer front. Tighten using a screwdriver in a clockwise direction. Repeat the process on the other side.
Note that each drawer is made up from a left and right side panel.

Check your assembly instruction as some units have more than on drawer height.

Insert the CAM barrel into the relevant holes on the drawer side ensuring the arrow of the CAM points as shown. Insert the CAM barrel into both holes.

Take a drawer side and line up with the appropriate hole. Push the drawer side onto the front until is it flush tighten the CAM barrel clockwise with a screwdriver ensure it is locked in place.
Repeat the process for both side panels. Take care to ensure the small grooves line up ready for the drawer base panel.

Carefully slide the base panel down the grooves on the end panels. Ensure that the base drops fully into the groove on the drawer front and that the base panel is in the correct orientation.
Place the back panel onto the base making sure it engages onto the groove. Turn drawer over as shown.

Ensure the holes are aligned and carefully knock in the plastic nails with a hammer. Turn over the drawer box and repeat the process with the other side.
Using a tape measure check the assembled drawer box is square. Measure both diagonals as shown. Both should be the same. If adjustment is needed tap the drawer box and re-measure.
Take the wedges as shown and slide the flange into the groove. Carefully tighten the screw clockwise with a screw driver. Repeat the process for the remaining fittings.
